On November 27, 2019, CuePath participated in the Fraser Health-SFU Research Pitching Day event. This was the 4th time that this half-day event was held. The aim of the Pitch Day event is to build new research collaborations between Fraser Health, Simon Fraser University, and innovators in the community. Tech companies, doctors, inventors and community leaders “pitched” their innovations in hope of collaborating with researchers to validate the effectiveness of their new product or service. Many of the innovations pitched were still at the concept stage.

There was a wide spectrum of pitches. Proposed research projects included new medical equipment, PTSD treatments, and new treatments for grief counselling.  I presented the CuePath product, and our request to research its cost savings to the BC healthcare system.

It was a great event for networking with researchers, doctors and other technology companies in the healthcare space. We greatly appreciate being invited by Fraser Health to the event. Fraser Health is one of five health authorities in the province of BC, and one of the largest in Canada. It serves 1.8 million people.
